Once accepted to a course, a deposit in the amount of $1,000.00 CAD is due upon receipt of invoice. The balance of the full payment is typically due two weeks before the course begins. Payment options include Interac e-Transfer, wire transfer and cheque.
In general, we try to be flexible about refunds. The first thing we try to do is ensure you’re loving learning with us! Failing that (womp womp womp), we’ll refund your fee on a pro-rated basis. So, if you’ve attended half of the classes in a course and then decide to discontinue, we’ll refund half your fee. We think it’s pretty fair. And these situations are pretty rare for us, anyway.
Note that we reserve the right to terminate a student’s training at any time for any reason and provide a prorated tuition refund.
If you’re accepted to a course and then want to change your program start date, we’ll try our best to work with you! We’ll place you in the next available course, pending availability.
Accomodation for Disabilities
We are committed to providing accommodation for participants with disabilities wherever possible. The Lab is wheelchair accessible.
At times, we may have to change a course location, date, or postpone a course. We will try to give you as much advance notice as possible of any such change. If you’re unable to attend a course at the revised location or date, we will credit 100% of any prepaid course tuition fees paid against a future course or, if requested, refund those fees. However, we will not be liable for any other costs incurred including (for example) travel charges or any consequential damages even if we were advised of them.
